Celeste Mattingly is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) specializing in Psychotherapy for adults. She is a
graduate of the Master of Social Work Program at Springfield College, in Springfield, MA.
Celeste has 25 years experience working in a variety of personal and professional recovery settings. These include
the last eight years in private practice, and over ten years experience providing clinical care in various outpatient
hospitals, such as; St. Francis Care Behavioral Health, Hartford Hospital's Institute of Living, Natchaug Hospital's
RiverEast Treatment Center, Catholic Family Services and Rushford Treatment Center.
Currently, in her private practice, Celeste is developing her own promising theory of psychotherapy she has most
suitably named- Celestial Psychology™. This exciting therapy utilizes an eclectic blend of standard psychiatric
techniques with state-of-the-art Holistic healing modalities. Celestial Psychology™ is founded on the belief that human
beings are capable of change.
Specializing in adult mental health and alcohol & drug abuse assessment and treatment, Celeste Mattingly, LCSW
wants to assure you that addiction and mental illness are treatable as dis-eases. She has provided help (see

all types of mental illness, especially depression and anxiety. She also counsels and educates family members about
how to address the special problems and needs of those afflicted with these diseases.
Celeste provides a safe and confidential environment where clients can talk freely and are listened to without
judgement. Celeste encourages clients to access their own strengths, focusing on the whole person, i.e., body, mind
and spirit. They are encouraged to search their subconscious to not only release and heal the old hurts, but also to
find what will make their 'hearts sing'. Clients learn to develop assertiveness, coping, communication, anger and
stress management skills. They also develop skills to modify their behavior, and most importantly to change their
perceptions.
In January of 2009 Celeste became a Level III Reconnective Healing© Practitioner, and is now offering Reconnective
Healing© Sessions, as well as The ReconnectionTM at her alternative healing site located within the Enlightened
Professional Center, in Bloomfield, CT. Although Celeste has been a Level III Usui Reiki Master since 2006, she is only
practicing Reconnective Healings, now.

teach and provide example to her clients. Clients learn to access their own natural healing capabilities and to develop
