Psychotherapy Healing Services, LLC was founded in 1999 by Celeste E. Mattingly, LCSW to provide psychiatric services to adult clients in all phases of life; to increase Quality-of-Life - the 'QOL factor'. Standard Psychotherapeutic services include: individual and group therapy; diagnostic (DSM-IV) assessments; treatment planning; case management and/or client advocacy; liaisons with community providers; referrals and medication consultations with psychiatrists, APRNs, and PCPs. Celeste Mattingly, LCSW is an authorized Level-I/II Reconnective Healing© Practitioner, and a Level-III Reconnection© Facilitator. (click on www.TheReconnection.com) Celestial Psychology® is an eclectic blend of standard, well-known psychiatric theories such as: Behavior Modification; Twelve-Step Facilitation; Self-Psychology; Rational Emotive Therapy; Cognitive Restructuring; Solution-Focused and Mindfulness Training. Celeste incorporates meditation and energy work into her Talk Therapy sessions, when appropriate and welcomed. Clients learn consciousness- raising techniques; relaxation, stress and anger management techniques; and how to use nutrition and natural supplement use to enhance mood and general well-being. | Office Hours: Psychotherapy appointments are scheduled from 10 am until 7 pm Monday through Friday, with some Saturday appointments. Sessions are 45 minutes in length. To schedule an appointment please call (860) 586-8700 and leave a detailed message. If your call is urgent and/or time-sensitive please use the pager- as instructed in the confidential voice-mail greeting, and Celeste will get back to you within four to six hours. The greeting on the confidential voice mail will indicate whether Celeste is available by pager- and if not will contain instructions to receive 24 hour coverage. |
| Initial Meeting: Please bring your insurance card, and your required co-payment in cash. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start time of your appointment. There will be paperwork in the waiting room for you to begin filling out. Also if you have any other insurance information, such as an authorization number please provide it at this time. |
| Confidentiality: All conversations between client and psychotherapist are confidential and are protected under Connecticut law. Celeste will provide you with a thorough review of all confidentiality practices, including Tarasoff & HIPPA. |
| Waiting Room |
| Cancellations: Failure to provide the office with 24 hours notice, prior to cancellation will result in the industry-standard full-fee charge. This charge is the client's responsibility, as insurance companies do not pay for missed appointments. Please utilize the pager, if necessary, to allow the full 24-hour notice. |
